Creating a React App

  1. In your terminal, navigate to the directory you'd like your React App to be
  2. Bootstrap your new React App:
  3. npx create-react-app my-app

Be sure to replace "my-app" with the name of your app!

  4. Install dependencies
  5. cd my-app
    npm install
    npm start

Be sure to replace "my-app" with the name of your app!

Run each of the commands above one after another

  6. In your browser navigate to http://localhost:3000 (React should do this automatically)
  7. Play around with the default app!
